In My Skin
In My Skin is a conceptual psychological body-horror film that reimagines the 2002 French film in modern-day New York City. The story follows Esther, a marketing professional whose fixation on altering her body develops into a dangerous cycle of obsession and self-destruction. Dark, surreal, and character-driven, the film explores perfectionism, identity, bodily autonomy, and transformation through a feminist lens.

The Project
I developed a publicity campaign positioning the film as elevated horror for Gen Z and Millennial audiences, arthouse viewers, and festivalgoers. The campaign combines emotionally unsettling messaging with research on contemporary horror audiences and Mia Goth’s influence within the genre.
Creative Direction
The visual identity uses shadowed imagery, muted colors, and distorted typography to reflect the film’s psychological tension. The central tagline, “Transformation always leaves a mark,” captures the physical and emotional consequences at the heart of the story while building intrigue without revealing its full horror.
Deliverables
The project included a movie poster, press release, fact sheet, audience-focused infographic, advertising headlines, and creative brief. Together, these materials established the film’s narrative, target audience, visual identity, festival strategy, and theatrical positioning.
